Course Annoucement Visiting Fellow - Soil Physical and Hydrological Properties – Universität Innsbruck

Course Annoucement Visiting Fellow - Soil Physical and Hydrological Properties

Visiting Fellow Ryan Stewart and Jesse Radolinski are offering a course on “Soil Physical and Hydrological Properties” for interested students in the master and PhD programmes.

The course will examine how water, gases, and solutes move through the soil environment. Additionally, we will explore the influence of plants on hydrology and how soil physical properties constrain biogeochemical processes. Students will gain hands-on experience in field hydrological techniques, and learn how to use basic models to address questions of plant-soil interactions in soils.

The course will focus more on fundamental concepts than mathematical treatments, and no calculus is required.

Registrations will remain open until April 30th.
