I'm studying Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences at the University of Innsbruck. Towards the end of my Bachelor's degree, I took the sustainability elective package of 30 ECTS in addition to my main degree programme out of personal interest. The topic of sustainability has always been very close to my heart, which is why I was delighted to be able to expand my construction-related knowledge with the additional programme offered by the University of Innsbruck. read more!

Thanks to its geographical location, Innsbruck, the capital of Tyrol, offers a special blend of urban flair and impressive natural scenery. Situated in the heart of the Alps, the city offers residents, around a quarter of whom are students, a breathtaking panorama and a wide range of cultural and leisure activities.
The distances are short.
The various locations of the University of Innsbruck are spread throughout the city. Nevertheless, the distances are short - almost everything in Innsbruck can be reached on foot in 20 minutes or by bike in 10 minutes. The surrounding mountain pastures, lakes and ski resorts are also usually just a stone's throw away.
MINT summer programme
In a one-week summer school, we give female students between the ages of 15 and 20 a good insight into STEM subjects and the opportunity to complete a paid internship.

Buddy-/Mentoring Programme
The Buddy/Mentoring Programme of the Faculty of Engineering Sciences is there to support students right from the start. In order to overcome possible challenges, buddies and mentors are available to answer questions and provide helpful tips on how to best master everyday student life.
