E+ BIP at UI: LOUIS Com­pe­tence Frame­work

The University of Iceland offers an erasmus+ Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) course focused on the LOUIS Competence Framework in Autumn 2025. Open to academic teaching staff involved in course or module delivery, as well as PhD students, the course awards 3 ECTS credits and explores innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

The on-site component of the course takes place in Reykjavík from 20 to 24 October 2025, with virtual sessions scheduled before and after the physical mobility period.

Interested participants can apply via the University of Iceland’s application portal using their home university login credentials: https://ugla.hi.is/courses/aurora. The application deadline is 15 August 2025.

Applicants are required to upload the following documents:

  • A copy of their passport information page or travel ID
  • PhD students: A transcript of records or an official confirmation of PhD enrolment
  • Academic staff: An official letter confirming they are teaching staff responsible for delivering a course or module at their home institution
