Research at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences

Research plays just as important a role at our faculty as teaching. Research centres such as Computational Engineering or Sustainable Construction offer the opportunity to drive forward important technological advances and develop practical solutions for complex challenges.

By focusing on and participating in other research centres, we are able to pursue interdisciplinary approaches and exploit synergies between different subject areas. A detailed overview can be found at Research and initiatives.

Research at the University of Innsbruck stands for scientific quality, a diverse research culture and the targeted promotion of young researchers. By promoting interdisciplinary cooperation and the combination of basic and application-orientated research, excellence and innovative strength can be achieved. Further information on "Research at the University of Innsbruck" can be found at here.
