The Faculty of Engineering Sciences at the Leopold-Franzens-University is responsible for the further development of technical sciences through research and a scientifically orientated education of students. The aim of research is the development of new methods, theories and implementation strategies for their practical application in the fields of technical sciences represented at this faculty. These include Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering. The aim of the programme is to enable graduates to independently apply and develop scientific methods and findings in their professional practice and to train the next generation of scientists.
