ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The University of Innsbruck Brand Research Laboratory at the Department of Management and Marketing invites brand researchers to participate in the 7th Brand Camp in the Austrian ski resort of Obergurgl.
The Brand Camp is a 2-day-conference where participants bring a research project or an inspiring idea for intensive discussion and joint development. The workshop-like character including presentations, discussions, fireside talks, social events, and the location in the picturesque Austrian Alps make the Brand Camp an extraordinary conference experience emphasizing reflection, discussion, and personal exchange.
The Brand Camp offers the opportunity to share branding insights, learn about current developments, work with like‐minded colleagues, and develop ideas and projects that shape future branding and consumer research. Topics of interest include, for example:
- New (not yet fully developed) branding concepts
- Thought-provoking branding questions
- Reflections on puzzling branding and consumer behavior phenomena
- Future directions for branding research
- Critical reflections on sustainable and ethical branding
- Novel approaches and research methods
- Quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research
The Brand Camp is conceptualized as a workshop, rather than a conference. Besides competitive paper and spotlight sessions, we reserve time to socialize and discuss research interests with fellow researchers. We welcome researchers at any career stage, from PhD students to senior researchers. Based on submitted and invited contributions, participants will compose the conference program directly at the Brand Camp.
