Holiday Care
During this year's summer holidays from 21.07.2025 to 05.09.2025, the SpielRäume team will once again organize varied holiday care for children aged 3 – 10 years of students and employees of the University of Innsbruck. Registration for this year's summer holiday care starts on Mon, 07.04.25 at 9 a.m.
The registration is digital for the first time this year.
For this purpose, there will be a new online summer holiday care calendar.
Please create a profile for your child(ren) in advance, this is already possible from 04.04.2025 at 4 p.m.
IMPORTANT: this must also be done by all those parents who already have a profile for the SpielRäume!!)
On Mon, 07.04. at 9 a.m. the reservation-button will be activated and registration will be open to everyone.
ATTENTION: According to ZID, logging in works best on a normal monitor (16"). Unfortunately, there are problems with monitors under 16" like smartphone, tablet and 13", we apologise for this.
Important: Only children who are already 3 years old at the beginning of the holiday care (21.07.2025) and who are not older than 10 years can be registered in the programme.
If your child turns 3 during the holidays and you want to register the child afterwards, this can NOT be recorded by the system.
In this case, please indicate the date of birth 20.07.2022 and be sure to write the following note in the section "Allergies/intolerances/special information": Birthday on: (real birthday).
Children who are older than 10 years on 21.07.2025 (e.g. 10 years and 2 months) can also NOT be registered in the system.

If there are places available, you will receive a confirmation of registration and then an invoice. Only when the amount of the invoice has been paid can you be guaranteed a place in the holiday care. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the staff of the Family Service.
In principle, you can choose between half-day care (8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) and full-day care (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with lunch). Registration is possible for individual days as well as on a weekly basis.
The costs amount to EUR 15.00 per child and day for half-day care – full week EUR 80.00 or
EUR 20.00 per child and day for all-day care – all week EUR 100.00 (incl. handicraft and excursion fee)
For lunch we go to the Uni Lounge with the children, the cost is EUR 5.00 per child per day.
In order to enable particularly exciting and age-appropriate holiday care, holiday care will again be divided into two groups this year.
One group for 3-6 year olds and one for 6-10 year olds, both at the Innrain site. The programmes of the two groups overlap to some extent, so it is not a problem if siblings are admitted to different groups. They still have common points in their daily routine and the groups have most of the excursions together - they are simply adapted and organised according to age.
As in previous years, our offer is characterized by special family-friendliness, as both half-day and full-day bookings, entire weeks and individual day bookings are possible.
