We offer the possibility to do exciting experiments in a lively international team (our group members are from all over the world and from over ten different countries) working on cutting-edge technologies in drug delivery including the development of nanocarriers and multifunctional dosage forms comprising advanced materials.
With over 75 successful PhD and over 150 successful Diploma/Master thesis completions the Bernkop Group has an impressive track record in the education of young scientists.

PhD applicants should have completed a Master thesis in life sciences preferably in pharmacy, (bio)chemistry, biology or a related field. Post-doc applicants should have a well-established record of scientific research and strong leadership skills.
The application should include:
- a curriculum vitae, and
- a short statement of your research interests and how they relate to the work of our group.
Masters candidates studying at the University of Innsbruck should identify a research topic that they are interested in and contact the senior scientist in charge of that project directly.
