Mathieu Falbriard

Profilbeschreibung:

Mathieu Falbriard has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Communication Systems and received his Ph.D. in Electrical engineering in May 2020. His thesis at the Laboratory of Movement Analysis and Measurement (LMAM), under the supervision of Prof. Kamiar Aminian, aimed to develop and validate solutions based on inertial measurement units to monitor running biomechanics and design a new prosthetic foot. During his post-doctorate, Mathieu led the first Innovation Booster in sports in Switzerland on a topic dear to him: concussions. The outcome of these innovation gatherings led to the creation of Bearmind, a startup he co-founded and where he now works with multiple professional teams on a new wearable solution to decrease the risks of brain injuries in sports.

Vorläufiger Keynote-Titel:

"From the lab to a startup: how innovation gatherings fostered an idea for a technology used by professional sports teams"
