All courses taught at the University of Innsbruck are evaluated by students on a regular basis in order to ensure a high level of quality and drive lecturers' optimization of their teaching efforts. An analysis of this course evaluation data, carried out by the Office of the Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Teaching, has shown the Parallel Programming course taught by Philipp Gschwandtner of the FZ HPC to be among the top 10% of all courses taught at the MIP faculty (math, computer science, physics).
The FZ HPC hopes to continue this high level of teaching quality, this winter semester with Philipp Gschwandtner's lecture and proseminar on High-Performance Computing in the master curriculum of Computer Science.
