1) Travelling to Innsbruck
By train
Innsbruck can be easily reached by train. It’s a two-hour trip from Munich to Innsbruck main station (Hauptbahnhof).

By plane
Innsbruck has an international airport with direct connections to the UK and other European countries. You can access the flight schedule here.
Alternatively, you can fly to Munich and take the train from there (S-Bahn from the airport to Munich east station, then Eurocity to Innsbruck).
2) Travelling to the conference venue
The conference will take place at Tiroler Bildungsinstitut Grillhof (Higher Education and Seminar Center Grillhof). It is situated in Vill just outside of Innsbruck.

From the city centre
Take Bus J (direction: Patscherkofel) to Vill Dorfstraße. Bus J runs regularly, every ten minutes. You can buy tickets either online, at some bus stops, or through the app “IVB Tickets” (available from Google Play and the App Store).
From the main station
Walk from the main station to the bus stop “Sillpark” (located in Amraser Straße). It’s a five-minute walk.
Then, take bus J (direction: Patscherkofel) to Vill Dorfstraße. It’s a ten-minute walk from the bus stop to Grillhof. The road is paved, but goes uphill, so we advise against taking very bulky or heavy luggage. If you foresee any mobility problems, please get in touch with us beforehand.
From Innsbruck airport
Take bus F (direction: Neu-Rum Kaplanstraße). Change at the bus stop “Sillpark” (located in König-Laurin-Straße). Walk over (100 metres) to the bus stop “Sillpark” (located in Amraser Straße).
Then, take bus J (direction: Patscherkofel) to Vill Dorfstraße. It’s a ten-minute walk from the bus stop to Grillhof. The road is paved, but goes uphill, so we advise against taking very bulky or heavy luggage. If you foresee any mobility problems, please get in touch with us beforehand.
