master's programmes: Admission & All about studying
Why study at the University of Innsbruck? How does admission to the master's programmes work? What deadlines need to be known? What tips are there for starting your studies? How is the academic year organized? Where do I get the information I need? This online session answers questions about admission and provides general information about studying (locations of the University of Innsbruck, accommodation, service facilities, etc.).

Online information session for international and UIBK students as well as students from other Austrian universities: This session will give an overview of the MA Program English and American Studies and be followed by a Q&A. We will provide information on the course schedule, workload, qualification profile and skills as well as entry requirements, online application process, and studying in Innsbruck. (For questions regarding visa etc. please contact the admission department.)
Duration: 30-60 minutes depending on the length of the Q&A.

We will give a short overview of the master study programs in Computer Science and Software Engineering at UIBK.
On Friday, March 15, we'll be focusing on the master's program in Software Engineering, while on Monday, March 18, the master Computer Science will be in focus.
All courses in our programs are taught in English, but the sessions can be a happy mix of English and German.

Have you completed your Bachelor's degree in Earth Sciences? You want to prepare yourself for a career in the private sector? Or are you interested in research and are leaning towards an academic career? Then the master's degree programme in Earth Sciences at the University of Innsbruck could be what you are looking for. This programme covers a very wide range of different topics and specialisations. These include Alpine geology, quarternary and applied geology, petrology and geochemsistry, or materials and resources. You can assemble your own study plan from an extensive pool of elective modules or choose from four different specialisations. In this online session, current lecturers will explain the structure of the masters degree programme Earth Sciences and will provide an insight into the various specialisation options. There will also be time for your individual questions.
