Calisti Maité

Maité was born in Luxembourg and completed her bachelor´s and master´s degree in sport science at the University of Innsbruck. The master´s thesis focused on the neuromuscular control of the healthy contralateral leg after a previous unilateral anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in females. Alongside the Master's degree, she received accreditation as a training therapist. From 2021 to 2023 Maité was employed as a student assistant at the Institute of Mechatronics at the Chair of Production Engineering at the University of Innsbruck, where she conducted various studies focusing on biomechanical and neurophysiological effects of supporting exoskeletons during industrials tasks. Since October 2021, Maité has been working as a doctoral student at the Department of Sport Science in the “Neurophysiology Research Area” of Prof. Peter Federolf.
