Innsbrucker Gender Lectures
The Innsbruck Gender Lectures are a series of events at the University of Innsbruck that have been held since 2009 and are open to the public. They address current topics in gender studies and discuss them from different disciplines and perspectives. Since the beginning of the series, the lectures have been recorded and broadcast on Radio FREIRAD.
The Innsbruck Gender Lectures are a forum for discussion and exchange that enables members of the Center for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies Innsbruck (CGI) at the University of Innsbruck and gender researchers from Austria and abroad to focus on controversial topics, to discuss them from a gender-critical perspective and to exchange ideas on the theoretical foundations of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary gender studies. Their contribution to the internationalisation of gender research at the University of Innsbruck is central.
