New erasmus+ strategic partnership „teaching Accounting for Sustainability, Social and Environmental Transparency“ (ASSET)

The strategic partnership "Teaching Accounting for Sustainability, Social and Environmental Transparency" (2023-1-IT02-KA220-HED-000156791) was applied for in March 2023 as a follow-up project to STAMP online. We have now received approval for the project. We are delighted that the project consortium's fourth erasmus+ strategic partnership has also been approved.

Under the leadership of the Università degli Studi di Urbino Carlo Bo (Italy), further innovative teaching concepts for the field of accounting, with a focus on sustainability aspects, will be developed and tested with international students over the next 3 years (December 2023 to December 2026). The European project consortium is very pleased about the continued successful project collaboration. The AFECA network can now look back on 30 successful years of collaboration. Sabine Graschitz, PhD is taking over the project management for the University of Innsbruck.

The project is particularly innovative due to the integration of the different specialist areas of tax, accounting, auditing and management accounting in the context of sustainability. The documents developed will also be made available online.

An informal online kick-off of the project will be organised in October 2023, at which further dates, milestones and teams of the project will be fixed. We are looking forward to our next ISP (Intensive Study Programme) in Urbino (Italy) in 2024 and to continuing the successful international cooperation of Prof. Dr. Rudolf Steckel.
