Admission

The prerequisite for admission is graduation from a university diploma or master's programme in an appropriate subject. A teacher training programme or master's programme in religious education completed at the University of Innsbruck renders a student eligible. The equivalence of other completed degree programmes would have to be reviewed on an individual basis.

Please find out about the research fields covered by the Faculty for Teacher Training before you apply for admission. If you are interested in one of these fields, you should make contact with one of the professors who deals with that field. The focus of the PhD study programme is the writing of a research paper; for the paper to be successful, good cooperation with the chosen supervisor is very important.
