Open Science - Research Data Management and Science Communication

Our faculty understands Open Science as a central component of modern social science research. We therefore support a research culture that promotes the transparency of research processes and the openness of research results. This should not only accelerate research processes and improve the quality of scientific findings. With Open Science, the Faculty also aims to make this research available to a broader public in the sense of the Third Mission and open it up for discussion.

The contact person for the Open Science area of our faculty is Julia Schwab. In collaboration with AUSSDA, her tasks include research data
management - including advice and support in the creation of data management plans, data acquisition, processing and archiving.

Julia is also responsible for the Faculty's science communication and manages our social media channels.
