Research focus
Component development, building acoustics and quality assurance in timber construction – In consideration of constructional, building physical, environmentally friendly and quality-enhancing aspects.
Research and quality monitoring using measurement technology: sound measurements in the test bench and on site, sound bridge localization using sound source cameras, airtightness (blower door), thermal images (thermography), strength tests by means of drilling core removal, drilling resistance measuring device, strength tests by means of ultrasound, moisture monitoring in buildings.
