Bruno Niederbacher S.J. is associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Innsbruck.

He got his PhD from the University of Freiburg im Breisgau with a thesis about "Faith as a Virtue in Thomas Aquinas". His main research interests are in medieval philosophy, metaethics and epistemology. His major publications are:
