Information for outgoing students

Within the framework of bilateral agreements of the University of Innsbruck, you can study one or two semesters in the following degree programmes at our partner universities:

  • Bachelor's degree programme in Civil and Environmental Engineering
  • Master's programme in Civil Engineering
  • Master's programme in Environmental Engineering
  • Bachelor's degree programme in Mechatronics
  • Master's degree programme in Mechatronics
  • Bachelor's programme Electrical Engineering
  • Doctorate in Technical Sciences

To be nominated for the erasmus programme, you must apply at least 1 year before your planned stay. For this purpose, participation in an annual information event on the erasmus programme at the Faculty of Technical Sciences is highly recommended. The application and nomination procedure takes place exclusively digitally via LFU:Online.

After the information event, the application and nomination of applicants and allocation to the available places at the partner universities for the summer and winter semesters of the following academic yeartakes place. Nominations are made by the erasmus subject coordinator according to the relevant selection criteria.

ATTENTION: some partner universities also have earlier deadlines, information on this can be found on the website linked above or in LFU:Online.

Once the application and nomination process has been completed , the Learning Agreement must be filled out. Find out about the courses on offer at the host university well in advance. This time-consuming part of the preparation for studying abroad requires careful consideration so that you can apply for recognition of your achievements without any problems. Courses totalling 30 ECTS per semester are mandatory. This corresponds to one semester's coursework ("no loss of progress principle").
