The graduates' retrospective assessment of their studies and their experiences at the University of Innsbruck is a valuable part of the quality process.

Factbox

Aim: To gather the experiences and impressions of graduates on completing their studies and, after analysing the results, to further develop the range of courses and the framework conditions in terms of quality.

Target group: Graduates from all BA, MA, diploma and doctoral programmes

Time of survey: Directly after graduation.

Survey duration: Approximately 7 minutes.

Survey tool: Online with the help of the EvaSys evaluation software (https://evasys.de/)

Language: German or English

Content: Organisation of studies, learning environment, buddy mentoring system, competencies and skills, final thesis and supervision, satisfaction with studies, internship and employment, career entry and career, duration of studies

Survey period: 2025-2027

Result: The survey results are processed, published in aggregated form and made available to the central service and counselling units as well as decision-makers.

In what form does the graduation survey take place?

The graduate will receive the direct link to the survey by e-mail.

The graduate clicks on the direct link to the questionnaire. The survey starts automatically on the end device.

The graduate provides feedback regardless of time and place.
The survey takes approx. 7 minutes.

Anonymity and data protection

All surveys as well as the evaluations and analyses of the Office for Quality Assurance in Teaching are carried out in compliance with the applicable data protection regulations. All feedback is anonymised; the EvaSys software used (https://evasys.de/) guarantees the possibility of anonymous surveys. As it is not possible to access this data, no changes can be made to the survey retrospectively if incorrect information is inadvertently provided. The survey report is compiled with a sufficiently high number of cases to ensure anonymity.

By participating in the graduation survey, you have the opportunity to anonymously share your experiences of the entire degree programme. Your feedback provides the University of Innsbruck with valuable information on how you have mastered your studies and everyday life at the University of Innsbruck. The results of the survey will be used for counselling prospective and current students, for study development and alumni work.

The participation of as many graduates as possible is important in order to obtain meaningful results. This enables the University of Innsbruck to take targeted measures for improvement. With your feedback, you support the quality process in study programmes and teaching.
