Quality of the recruitment process for our researchers 

The ARDRE programme has recruited 12 early-stage researchers (ESR) as doctoral candidate fellows who are academically excellent and committed to science, as well as having a strong interest in pursuing research in an interdisciplinary framework on ageing, regeneration, and drug research.

The selection process has followed the principles set out by the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. After formal screening of completeness and eligibility, the recruitment committee and experts have reviewed all applications in a two step evaluation process.  

 

 

ARDRE Recruiting

 

In four calls we received a total of 226 applications from 42 nations for our ARDRE DP, and consisted of 111 females and 111 males. Six candidates did not state their gender. 142 candidates applied in the first call, 24 candidates in the second call, 26 candidates in the third call, and finally, 34 candidates in the fourth call.

  • No. of eligible applications in total: 120
  • No. of non-eligible applications in total: 106

Based on the our evaluation criteria, 40 candidates were invited for an interview. Following that evaluation the 14 successful candidates were selected to be designated as ARDRE ESR's, two ESR terminated their employment amicably before completing their PhD.
