Benedikt Hösl - born in 1994 in Germany - studied psychology at the University of Innsbruck. In the course of his studies, he wrote both his bachelor's and master's thesis in the field of sports psychology with focus on sport climbing. His interest in the interplay of psychology and sports brought him to the Institute of sport Science at the University of Innsbruck, where he has been working as a University Assistant in the sport and Exercise Psychology Research Group of Univ.-Prof. Dr. Martin Kopp since 2022. As part of his dissertation, he researches the psychological effects of physical activity and the role of expectations in clinical samples.
