Buddy and Mentoring Programs

The University of Innsbruck's buddy and mentoring programs play a vital role in easing the transitions from school to university and from bachelor’s to master’s programs while also fostering the development of a robust, supportive network for the future. These initiatives promote a welcoming and social university environment, ensuring that students feel connected and engaged. Through active exchange of ideas, feedback, and experiences between faculty and students, participants enhance their professional and social competencies. Additionally, the programs illuminate various educational pathways and career opportunities, strengthening ties with alumni and encouraging lifelong engagement with the university community.
The Departments of English and American Studies offer buddy and mentoring programs for students in the bachelor's degrees English and American Studies and Teacher Training Program Subject English as well as the master's degree English and American Studies.
