General outline
ZEISS is a global leader in industry and research in optical and optoelectronic technologies, with currently about 43,000 employees. As part of a collaboration with ZEISS, the Interactive Graphics and Simulation group will be offering opportunities for co-supervised Bachelor's and master's theses in collaboration with ZEISS Corporate Research and ZEISS Medical Technology.
We are seeking passionate and talented students who are eager to work on cutting edge research questions together with the IGS group and ZEISS. There also is the possibility to carry out the work in part at the ZEISS Headquarters in Germany as a student employee with a salary.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please get in touch. Specific project topics can then be iterated, based on your interest and background. Examples of possible topics are the synthetic generation of vascular networks, soft tissue simulation or surgical support, the development of computer vision solutions for autonomous systems, or AR/VR-based assembly guidance/training.
