Welcome to the Personnel Department!

The personnel department provides support to all employees of the University of Innsbruck from the beginning to the end of their employment. On the 31st of December 2023, 5.606 persons (Source unidata) were members of the staff of the University of Innsbruck. 

We issue working contracts, dispatch the registration for the social insurance, account salaries, travel expenses and more.

We are happy to advise and consult you with topics regarding your employment or related questions that may arise (about for instance working time, holiday entitlement and leave of absence or suchlike). Many automatically processed options within VIS:Online and a comprehensive form catalogue are available in order to conveniently apply or change amendments.

We always strive to process all requests promptly and provide you with the best possible service. To ensure a timely payroll, we kindly ask you to submit your requests to us by the 25th of the current month. In this way we can ensure that they are taken into account for the following month's payroll.

Informations for Project Staff, Scientific Staff and Lecturers are published in English. For further questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
