This course provides a general overview of the ecology of one of the largest and most diverse insect orders on our planet – the Hymenoptera.
Structured as a series of lectures and seminars, the course touches upon the topics of hymenopteran diversity, conservation, life cycles, with a special focus on behavioural ecology and socio-biology. Further, the course presents the roles played by hymenopterans in ecosystems and their interactions with other organisms, including plants and humans.
The lectures will be held in English.
