Long Night of Research
The DiSC has a booth titled "Where are digital methods being used?" at the Long Night of Research (Lange Nacht der Forschung) 2022. There, we showcase the diversity of topics which are currently investigated using digital methods. Presented applications and hands-on software demos include: Digital methods for tracking language use on the internet, scarcity cues in online shops, or visualizing geospatial data, images of the brain, and 3D weather models. The list of topics may be marginally revised or extended.
