New employee in the workgroup Biomedical Engineering

We are happy to welcome Mina Naeimabadi to our team! Mina studied Biomedical Engineering (BSc) at Azad University of Mashhad, Iran, and Micro and Nano-Electronic Devices Engineering (MSc) at the University of Tehran, Iran. Mina will be a PhD student in the nanOPMrxi project working on magnetic relaxometry imaging (MRXI) using optically-pumped magnetometers (OPMs) in unshielded environments. New research project to investigate neurofeedback in the rehabilitation of stroke patients approved

We are excited that our new research project "OnEEG NEUROFLOW - Online EEG Analysis for Neurofeedback in Neurorehabilitation" was recently approved. The WEAVE project in cooperation with the Ilmenau University of Technology and the Landeskrankenhaus Hochzirl is jointly funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the Austrian Science Fund (FWF) for a period of three years. The aim is to research the use of neurofeedback with the aid of electroencephalography (EEG) in the rehabilitation of leg function; at the University of Innsbruck the project is led by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Daniel Baumgarten (Principal Investigator) and Dr. johannes Vorwerk. Further information can be found here.

Aaron Jaufenthaler wins poster award at Hot Atomic Vapor Workshop
