Elias studied Biology at the University of Innsbruck (BSc thesis at the Insitute of Zoology). In 2020 he has absolved a 6 months internship in a biotech startup for the indoor cultivation of Litopenaeus vannamei in Switzerland. Now, he has joined the Applied Animal Ecology research group in 2022 as a technician. In parallel he is working on his master thesis (“Katzen machen Wissenschaft”), which is a Citizen Science project involving interested citizens and their cats. He is involved in several projects of the research unit and is also responsible for the lab management and equipment, the organization of the inventory and public relations.
