Simon Fuger is part of the team since early 2016 conducting the PhD program Management. He studied economics followed by the master program strategic management with a specialization in innovation and entrepreneurship at the University of Innsbruck. His research focuses on the field of online innovation communities and crowdsourcing initiatives. Within this field of interest he puts his focus on the dynamics and interaction behavior of users. His master thesis investigated the inluence of interaction behavior on idea quality in a crowdsourcing intitiative with the aim of fostering social innovations. Currently Simon Fuger is researching the influence of reward systems on the participation behavior within online innovation communities. Furthermore user roles and team building within crowdsourcing initiatives are of special interest.
