Abstract. A series of researches focuses on a biomimetic exploration to understand and replicate the tectonics and multifunctional capabilities found in plants to create innovative nodeless systems for architecture. The study begins with an extensive literature review to uncover biomimetic tectonics in architecture, followed by the analysis of relevant examples fom plants includes around 70000 images from GBIF data base. Base on the findings a classifying for the nodes types in the plants has been done to make 3 types of nodes in the plants. Some of them show geometrical solutions while the others show counter intuitive solution through optimizing less material in the node area. After that we delve into microscopic and tomography observations to understand the biomimetic principles in Rhipsalis bacciferra as case study. Then creating utilization of physical and digital modeling, simulation, and testing. The goal is to develop a methodology that integrates insights from biology and architectural design to conceive multifunctional joints. By collaborating across disciplines and employing techniques such as physical modeling, digital simulation, the research aims to create architectural forms that surpass traditional notions of nodes and structural connections.
