This was the APO Congress 2025 in Pörtschach
The APO Congress on "Anti-ageing and Longevity" from 13 to 15 June 2025 exceeded all expectations. The three-day training conference organised by the Chamber of Pharmacists in Pörtschach am Wörthersee was fully booked with 350 participants from all over Austria.
A total of 16 exciting and entertaining presentations by renowned experts from science, research and practice were organised under the patronage of the conference chair, Mag. pharm. Susanne Ergott-Badawi and Univ.-Doz. Dr Pidder Jansen-Dürr were on the programme. The topic of ageing, longevity and life extension is becoming an increasingly important issue for society and is therefore becoming more and more the focus of research.
During the congress breaks, pharmacists were able to find out about new developments in the field of medicines and pharmacy technology at the trade exhibition, which featured 40 exhibitors. As usual, the Austrian Chamber of Pharmacists was represented with its own stand to answer questions from members and provide them with coffee and cocktails.
