How to Apply
If you wish to study at the University of Innsbruck as an ERASMUS+ student, please contact the ERASMUS+ coordinator at your home university to find out if a valid agreement exists in your field of study.
After being nominated by your home university’s ERASMUS+ coordinator, please complete and submit the online Application for Admission: https://www.uibk.ac.at/en/international-relations-office/student-mobility/incoming/
Your application must include our ERASMUS+ Certificate with the official stamp and signature of your home coordinator, a CV, a copy of your passport, and your Learning Agreement.
>>> Please note that the University of Innsbruck does not accept ‘free movers’ (i.e. students that are not part of a specific exchange programme).
Accommodation
Housing is a major concern for ERASMUS+ incomings. Accommodation is provided by the OeAD (the Austrian Service Centre for European and International Mobility and Cooperation) for those who apply and send a reservation deposit: http://www.housing.oead.at/ The rooms are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so please apply as early as possible.

Academic Year and ERASMUS+ Welcome Event
Winter semester: 1st October - 31st January

>>> An ERASMUS+ welcome event is held on the first day of semester, at 5 p.m., in the Aula (the major assembly hall) of the main University building. It offers useful information on registration and on German language courses, and serves as get-together with local students. Participation is strongly recommended.
Departmental ERASMUS+ Coordinators

The departmental coordinators are responsible for all questions relating to your studies. They are not responsible for admission or accommodation. Please contact the International Relations Office directly if you need help or support.

The courses are listed according to faculty and semester. The information on each course includes details on schedule, objectives, contents, literature, type of exam, and registration (if necessary). Together with your ERASMUS+ coordinator at your home institution, you have to decide on the courses you will take in Innsbruck before your arrival.
