Lenart Škof (Head of Institute for Philosophical Studies, SRC Koper) is among the leading international scholars in the field of respiratory thinking. He was a visiting scholar at Stanford University and Max Weber Institute for Advanced Social Sciences (Erfurt) and guest lecturer at various departments (Australia, India, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Poland). He authored several works on the topic of respiratory thinking, air and breathing, among them Atmospheres of Breathing, ed. by L. Škof and P. Berndtson (SUNY Press, 2018), Ethik des Atems (Herder/Karl Alber, 2017), Breath of Proximity: Intersubjectivity, Ethics, and Peace (Dordrecht: Springer, 2015), and Breathing with Luce Irigaray, ed. by L. Škof and E. Holmes (Bloomsbury, 2013).
Nives Dolšak holds a joint Ph.D. in Political Science and Public Policy from the Indiana University, Bloomington, USA. She is a professor of environmental policy and an associate director of the School of Marine and Environmental Affairs, University of Washington, Seattle. She teaches courses on climate change governance, ocean management, and policy analysis. Her research is published in academic journals in climate and environmental policy, public policy and environmental communication. Dolšak will work within the partner AMEU ECM.
Nadja Furlan Štante is senior research fellow at the Science and Research Centre Koper. She received her B.A., M.A. and PhD degrees at Faculty of Theology, Univ. of Ljubljana). Her authored books include In Search for Goddess: new cosmology of sensibility and hospitality (Annales, Koper 2014) and Woman, nature and religion: eco-feminist perception (Annales, Koper 2014). She has edited several volumes and is the author of numerous scientific articles in ecofeminist theology. Since 2010 she has been a member of the permanent expert body of the ARRS (she is holding the post of a national coordinator for theology). She received a Fulbright research grant for the 2008-09 academic year at University of Berkeley.
Kristjan Nemac is a young researcher (PhD candidate) at SRC Koper. He works in the fields of geography and sociology.
