Project content

In the LichtAusFassade project (side project to MPPF), DI(FH) Daniel Neyer and DI(FH) Martin Hauer carried out the coupling of light simulation (Radiance) and thermal building simulation (TRNSYS) in collaboration with the Bartenbach Light Laboratory in Aldrans. For this purpose, a reference room was defined and the different boundary conditions (different radiation spectrum for visible light and solar radiation, different light deflection systems) as well as the different mechanisms of action of the two types of radiation were taken into account. The results were presented at several conferences and at TRNSYS user days. The working group is likely to be the European leader in this field.
