FSP Physics Prize 2025
In 2025, the Innsbruck Physics Research Center will award the FSP Physics Prize for outstanding bachelor's theses. The prize aims to recognise and highlight exceptional work by bachelor's students in physics.
Awarding of prizes
A total of four prizes of 250 euros each will be awarded. Each prize is allocated to one of the four seminars with Bachelor's thesis. The subject areas include:
- Astro- and particle physics
- Experimental physics
- Ion physics and applied physics
- Theoretical physics
The prize winners are selected by the seminar leaders of the physics seminars. One outstanding Bachelor's thesis is nominated in each of the four physics seminars.
The nomination criteria include
- Quality of the work
- Presentation of the thesis
After you have been nominated by your seminar leaders, please submit the following documents by e-mail with the subject "Nominated FSP Physics Prize 2025" by no later than
Wednesday, 13 August 2025 at the latest,

- Presentation slides of the bachelor seminar presentation (as PDF file)
The ceremonial presentation of the FSP Physics prizes is expected to take place in October 2025. Further details on the event will be announced.
