Revision of EDD Online Launched

Manfred Markus from the Department of English launched a thorough revision of EDD Online, a database based on Wright’s English Dialect Dictionary, and made it publicly available as EDD Online 4.0. The database interface allows for new insights on the distribution of English dialects world-wide. It is technically supervised by, among others, Joseph Wang-Kathrein (DiSC & Research Institue Berenner-Archiv).
